On Friday night, October 2, the Bears traveled a short distance down the road to play under the lights at Rice Lake's new multi-million dollar sports complex. This much-anticipated game was met by rain, cold, and wind, but it didn't dampen the spirits of our BHS boys! They were looking forward to playing on the artificial turf and under the lights on this beautiful new field all season long.~~~
The game that transpired on the field can only be described as the "Pepto-Bismol Upset" of the season... Our BHS Bears proceded to beat the Rice Lake Warriors by a final score of Barron:4, Rice Lake:3 in what has been described as one of the most, if not the most exciting game of the 2009 soccer season! Ali scored two goals, and Tino and Landan each pitched in with one goal toward the final score.

Sorry I didn't see the game at this great field and especially watching the boys play..what I didn't miss is the rain and cold. Congrats Barron Golden Bear Soccer team.
