On Thursday night, August 19th, the Barron Bears Boys Soccer team hosted their season opener to the Cumberland Beavers. While Cumberland had already played in a 4-team scrimmage and had one conference game under their belt, the Bears were fresh on the field this season.
Despite the Bears dominating the field with both their offense and defensive skills, we failed to finish the job when we got in range of the goal. We fell to Cumberland on our home field with a final score of 1 to 3.

I guess I hadn't realized that the boys have a game under their belt, I should have talked to them about it while they were here using the musles they have been building up to help us move the large items from our house. Thanks boys, Shana & Jamie and also Abz & Bailey!
