On Thursday, September 2, after the first full day of school for students, the BHS boys traveled to Cumberland to take on the Beavers. I am unsure of the last time Barron has come away from a meeting of these two schools on the soccer field as the victor, as Cumberland has become our nemesis and has seemed to win in all of our recent year's competitions.

At the end of an intense game, only one goal was scored throughout the entire 80 minutes of play! Despite an earlier injury, Austin pulled through and scored a goal in the second half to lead the Bears to a 1 to 0 victory over the Beavers!
