Tuesday, September 29--BHS at Osceola

On Tuesday, September 29, the Bears traveled to Osecola to take on the Chieftains on their home field. Our BHS boys battled on the field, but ended up on the lower end of the scoreboard with a final score of Barron:2, Osceola:5.

Goals were scored by Tino and Landan.

Pictures were taken by: no one.

Due to technical difficulties (ie: I have no idea what the heck was wrong with my camera! I panicked, I hyperventilated, I FREAKED OUT!), I have no pictures from this game. Sorry! The good news is, I was able to get the camera working again when I got home, so I should have pictures from the remaining two games this week.

On a more exciting note, my Andrew scored his first goal of the season in the JV game on Tuesday night! Congratulations, ANDREW!!!!

Thursday, September 24--BHS Homecoming--Bears vs. Hurricanes

On Thursday, Sepetember 24th, the Barron Golden Bears hosted the Hayward Hurricanes in BHS's Homecoming game. Hayward has proven to be tough competition in the past, and they have only suffered one loss this season (to Amery). Our last meeting with Hayward ended with a final score of Barron:2, Hayward:5.

Our BHS boys played a strong game on our home field Thursday night, however, Hayward lived up to their reputation and out-scored us once again with final score of Barron:1, Hayward:3.

Tuesday, September 22--Barron Travels to Spooner

On Tuesday, September 22, the BHS Golden Bears traveled north to Spooner to take on the Rails at their new home field. Jamie was kind enough to take my camera and snap some pictures for me, as I was unable to make the game.

We scored 3 goals against Spooner, one each from Ali, Austin, and Landan, but the final score showed Spooner with one more goal than the Bears. Final score, Barron:3, Spooner:4.
